The Flogan Engine Start Relay is a specialized control device designed for automatic starting of diesel and petrol engines, including generator sets and fire pump systems.

It operates using a dual timing mechanism, where the ON and OFF durations are controlled by calibrated potentiometers, allowing precise timing adjustments.

The relay attempts to start the engine up to three times, and if unsuccessful, it activates a lockout system to prevent damage. After lockout, the relay stops functioning until it is manually reset by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply.

This ensures safe and controlled engine operation while preventing excessive wear or failure due to repeated unsuccessful starts.

Suitable for AMF panels, fire pump control systems, and industrial engine automation applications, the relay provides reliable and efficient engine start control.
