Reverse Power Relay – Flogan Power Flow Protection Device

The Flogan Reverse Power Relay (RPR) is a specialized protection device designed to monitor the direction of power flow in electrical systems and prevent damage caused by reverse power conditions.

It continuously monitors the current supplied by the alternator and compares it with voltage signals. If reverse power is detected, the relay activates and trips the system to protect critical equipment such as generators, transformers, and motors.

The relay includes adjustable time delay (0–10 seconds) and operates based on preset reverse power settings, typically ranging between 6% to 10% of fixed internal values.

Equipped with changeover output contacts and LED indication, it provides clear operational feedback and reliable control.

It automatically disconnects the system if the prime mover stops, preventing motoring of generators and ensuring safe operation.
